Christopher Ettridge is an actor of more than thirty years experience. He is probably best known for his performance as the rather dim policeman Reg Deadman in the BBC series “Goodnight Sweetheart” with Nicholas Lyndhurst. He has performed in repertory theatres all round the country and also with The Royal Court, The Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre and in London’s West End.

As a director, Christopher has done many productions with drama students at ALRA, The Drama Centre and other drama schools in London and the USA. He has also directed at repertory theatres in the UK. He recently ventured into producing for the first time and with his own company A27, adapted and directed a musical version of Goldoni’s Mirandolina where the audience were served an Italian meal while the action proceeded around them. This successfully toured village halls and restaurants.
