Lheila trained at Guildford School of Acting and has a BEd (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University. She has performance credits in theatre, TV and film work, clowning, physical theatre and improvisation. She trained and performed with Keith Johnstone at the Cockpit Theatre, London, ran improvisation workshops and performed with ‘Off The Cuff’. Additionally, she has taught street theatre and clowning, presented many live stage shows for clients including Disney and Sesame Street and performs regularly on the London comedy circuit.
Since training at Manchester Polytechnic Paul has worked widely in theatre, radio, film and television, including BAFTA-winning and Olivier-nominated productions on stage and screen. He has directed both professional and student actors. Paul is author of Acting Characters (Methuen) and Stephen Joseph – Theatre Pioneer and Provocateur (Bloomsbury Academic). Paul has taught at the universities of Hull and Teesside and at SCAD in the USA, run courses at the Actors Centre London, and has a Drama PhD from the University of Hull.
Andrew studied at Mountview Theatre School and has worked with the RSC, Royal Court, on Number 1 tours and regional repertory theatre - touring to America, China, Hong Kong, Italy, France and Spain. Alongside acting Andrew has worked as a tutor at ALRA since 2007, specialising in storytelling, narrative skills and improvisation. Other credits include: Bleak House at the New Vic Theatre and an international tour of Katrina, a promenade production about the impact of Hurricane Katrina on New Orleans.
