ALRA’s 2009 graduate Amrita Acharia is best known for her role as Dothraki handmaiden Irri in the first two seasons of the HBO world hit series Game of Thrones.

She has featured in films such as The Devil’s Double and Dead Snow 2 and played as Mine, the main role in I am yours (Jeg er din) for which she got her first nomination for Best Actress in Amanda Awards, Norway in 2014.

She appears in the Norwegian crime series Acquitted and is currently starring in the ITV crime drama The Good Karma Hospital.

In 2019, Amrita played Ama Lhamu in film Missing Link.
