Following the success of its previous production, Eavesdropping, which played at Barons Court Theatre last summer, Angel Theatre Company is back with its follow up play, More Eavesdropping - conceptualised and directed by ALRA PG 1996 graduate, John Patterson.
More Eavesdropping utilises the same concept as the first show and, unlike many plays which are usually scripted or devised, this unique production boasts to be neither.
Angel Theatre Company describes the play as follows:
'The piece is created by our company of actors who spend several weeks covertly recording real people engaged in genuine conversations.
These recordings are then scripted, explored and reinterpreted through rehearsal to find their dramatic potential. Each vignette is a miniature work of art in itself and offers the audience a great insight into the world around us'.
The production will feature four ALRA graduates, Lara Bell, Anna Bonnett, Andrew Irving and Sarah Kerr. Bell and Bonnett graduated from our Three Year Acting BA (Hons) course in 2014, while Irving and Kerr are 2016 graduates of the same course.
More Eavesdropping, which promises to be funny and poignant, will be showing at Barons Court Theatre on 31st January - 4th February and 6th - 11th February at 7.30pm (with a Saturday matinee on 4th February at 2.30pm). For information on how to book tickets please visit the Angel Theatre Company website.
Best of luck to the entire cast and crew, we hope this production is even more successful than the first.
