After Ödön von Horváth’s ‘Kasimir and Karoline’
About the play
Von Horváth’s masterpiece Kasimir and Karoline originally explored the lives of working-class people at the height of the 1920’s recession but is transposed to today by Olivier Award winning writer Simon Stephens (who also adapted The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time for the National Theatre).
Two young lovers share one night at the fairground with the highs and lows of life and their rollercoaster relationship.
