Workshops And Seminars
Weeks five, ten and eleven on the Acting Programmes are usually workshop weeks which can include internal workshops – added extras from the staff which support and further the timetabled classes. In week eleven there are workshops run by external practitioners. Workshops can include story-telling, circus skills, tumbling, accent workshops, talks from agents, mime, stand-up and mask work.
In year 3 and term 5 for the post graduates, industry lectures take place from Spotlight, Equity, Accountants, Agents and Casting Directors. All students meeting agents and casting directors through a Practice Audition.
SMTT students have workshops including sessions with Orbital, Flints and Rosco.
