ALRA Acting Schools in London & Manchester

Bronwyn James

Straight after graduating from ALRA North in 2015, Bronwyn James made her professional debut appearing in Hangmen at Wyndam’s Theatre in London after a run at the Royal Court in 2015. The play featuring other critically acclaimed actors such as Reece Shearsmith, Simon Rouse, John Hodgkinson and Sally Rogers received many good reviews, which led it to winning two out of their three nominations in 2016’s Olivier Awards: Best New Play and Best Set Design.

In 2017, she stars in the US / British co-production TV show Harlots inspired by Harris’s List Of Covent Garden Ladies. Created by Alison Newman & Moira Buffini it debutted in March on ITV and the days after on the US streaming platform Hulu.
