Courses

ALRA is a UK leading drama school committed to providing high quality training in acting and directing at our campuses in London and Wigan.

ALRA training is rooted in a desire to help each student find their individual approach to their chosen craft. Students study all of the elements required to work as a professional in the ever-evolving performance industry.

At ALRA, we apply the same professional standard to all our courses to ensure they are fit for purpose and, more importantly, that when you have completed your course you have the skills and ability to move to the next level or enter the profession.

Applications are welcomed from November of each year for all courses.

We know there are some concerns about what studying at ALRA will be like post-Covid. ALRA is committed to, and will provide, the conservatoire experience that each student deserves.

We will continue to deliver our programmes at the highest level of quality and safety – always adhering to government guidelines. Students will receive full information before courses begin in September and we are looking forward to welcoming back our existing students and enrolling all of our new recruits.

Our acting courses in London and Wigan are identical; it is just their location and cost that vary.
