ALRA Acting Schools in London & Manchester

Professional Acting Courses

ALRA Professional Acting Courses are practical, vocational courses. In acting classes led by highly skilled tutors you will learn acting strategies and techniques for theatre, screen and microphone.

In year 3, BA students perform in at least three public productions, audition to a panel of acting agents and casting directors, work with a casting director to present a Showcase to Industry Professionals and receive diverse lectures, from keeping accounts to finding an agent.

There are many drama degrees and acting courses available at colleges in London and Manchester. As there is such a diverse range of specialist performing arts courses it’s important that you choose the right one to suit you.

ALRA offers diverse, practical training in all aspects of acting from the very first term. Our auditions are fully inclusive and reflect our ethos of ensemble practice and peer support.

Please read through the course content and audition guide before you apply and come to one of our Open Days to get a taste of what life at ALRA is like.
